How We Support You
At the heart of our provision is a commitment to understanding and supporting each young person as an individual. From day one, we take time to get to know you, your strengths, interests, needs, and ambitions. Together, we create an individual learning plan tailored to your goals, and a bespoke curriculum designed to reflect the way you learn best. Alongside this, you’ll co-design your co-curriculum with us, choosing experiences and subjects that genuinely interest and inspire you.
A Trusted Team Around You
You’ll be supported by a consistent team of staff who are here to help you feel safe, valued and understood. Our dedicated youth mentors are with you throughout your journey, providing guidance, encouragement, and someone you can talk to when you need support. They build strong, trusting relationships that help you stay motivated and confident.
Wellbeing and Emotional Support
Emotional wellbeing is central to everything we do. Our wellbeing practitioner is also a trained Thrive practitioner, which means your emotional support is grounded in a therapeutic, evidence-based approach. Thrive helps young people develop emotional resilience, understand their feelings, and build positive relationships. It supports you to feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn. No matter what challenges you may have faced in the past.
Preparing You for the Future
As part of your time with us, you’ll take part in our Preparing for Adulthood curriculum. This supports you to build the knowledge and skills needed for life beyond education. We focus on four key areas:
Employability – exploring career pathways and gaining work-related experience.
Independence – developing practical life skills and confidence in managing day-to-day tasks.
Friendships and Relationships – learning how to form and maintain healthy, supportive connections.
Community and Better Health – understanding how to stay physically and mentally well, and how to be part of your local community.
Throughout your journey, we work with you at your pace, celebrating every step forward. You are never expected to “fit in”—instead, we shape the support around you, so you can grow into the person you want to be.
